My PC brehs. What is the lowest acceptable frame rate before settings are turned off-reduced

60. Settings are never reduced. Cards are only added. :troll:

However on a serious note, that's something you'd have to decide for yourself since everyone perceives shyt different. Anything under 40 is a slide show to my master race eyes.

So the GTX 680 GHZ aka GTX 770 was released today and priced at $400. We should see a lot of 670/680 prices coming down.

the thing is, the prices on previous generation's cards seldom really go down that far. I think it has to do with the fact they're pretty expensive to manufacture, so they can't reduce them too much without taking a loss. I mean, they're still selling 580's for $500

you'd have to be retarded to buy that, but there it is... :manny:

the prices do come down, but it seems the most 'bang for your buck' is almost always the current gen

We'll see. I'm pretty sure they'll come down though unless they are EOL since no one is going to be buying them anymore for over $400. The real winners here will be the people that usually go with the x60s and xxxti's since those will most likely be sped up 670's with another name.

the question is will it come down enough to make it a better value than new cards

Thing is it isn't a new card. It's a 680 with a different costume. This isn't a 580 to 680 jump were talking about.

like you said, we'll see. but they're both out today, and the 770 is slightly better and $100 cheaper
