:whoa: a 690 is like 2 680's

it would also be a problem if 2 $200 cards could match the performance of their $1000 card

I imagine 2 660's probably give you similar performance to a single 680/770
I wasn't aware of how big of a jump the 690 was over the 680.

I think in SLI they should top a stock 680

So what recommended budgets should we throw up top?
$400, $600, $800, and $1,000?

Let me know what you guys recommend at any budget. $400 build is done for now. I thought about dropping down the RAM to 4GB, but I am not comfortable with it and hate wasting parts. That build outside of the Processor should be good for at least 2 years to run games.

Woah there..two 670s out benchmark single titans yet alone a 780. Two 680s would ofcourse do the same

Tempting and I doubt it lasts long. Throwing it up on the $600 build soon :skip:

Don't even bother, that shyt will be gone by the end of the day..lol

I'd change the ram on the $400 build if you can find cheaper 1333 DDR3 since that is the max those Celerons support. However if one purchases the 1600 ram they could reuse it for an upgraded build down the line. I'd personally remove the wireless card and change the hideous case to this,

NZXT Source 210 S210-001 Black “Aluminum Brush / Plastic” ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Newegg.com

But I guess beggars can't be choosers, :manny:

:laff: Yeah the case looks terrible, but I figure the WiFi card is more important to people.

What card do you recommend in the $200ish range then (we can factor MIR and games as well)

Almost done with the $600 build, probably has to be AMD build with the FX 4100 Quad in it.

Can't beat the AMD cards if the games are going to be sold to meet the budget. Whichever 7850/7870 2GB variant you can find(whichever has the better bundle too). Out of the box the 650 ti boost trades blows with a 7850 but with both overclocked the 7850 takes the crown.

Ubisoft asks PC gamers to show interest about The Division, petition almost hits its initial goal | DSOGaming | The Dark Side Of Gaming

It seems that Ubisoft wants to promote a possible PC version of The Division in a really clever way. During this year’s E3, the French company announced that this great looking game would be coming on XBOne and PS4. Even though it did not rule out other platforms for a future release, the company stated that it was currently focused on the console versions.

However, during Machinima’s interview the developers of The Division said that a PC version will be made if there is a demand for it. The devs said that PC gamers should go ahead and ‘sign petitions, get on the forums and post their requests‘.

There is already a petition for The Division PC that has almost hit its initial goal of 7500 signs. We don’t know the amount of signs that are needed for this petition to be successful, but we are pretty sure that a petition that has been signed up by 10K PC gamers is a pretty good number.

Those interested can sign up the petition here:

https://www.change.org/petitions/ubisoft-release-tom-clancy-s-the-division-for-pc#share

Truth be told, though, we are a bit puzzled by Ubisoft’s strategy. The French company was satisfied with Far Cry 3′s sales on the PC, and it claimed – in the past – that the PC is its lead development platform. Therefore, it’s a bit odd that this MMO game – and since its an MMO, it almost felt a given that it was suited for the PC – is not officially coming to the PC.

Did Ubisoft suddenly change its strategy? Is PC not anymore the company’s lead development platform? Or is Ubisoft trying to promote the PC version of The Division via a cheaper way, while at the same time present ‘fake excuses’ for a possible delay?

$600 build is up, let me know if there is anything I should swap out. Remember, ALL BUILDS must come with WiFi and Bluetooth

$800 build is next

$800 build is up with a Core i5 4670K

I'll wait to see what 2gunsup, @daze23, or @Malta recommend in terms of GPU to fit into that $1,000 build. I am thinking for $323 dedicated to the GPU...we might be able to get a decent SLI setup to combine with that 4670K. Give me the best nvidia solution you can recommend to me at that price breh.

I am guessing a crossfire setup of dual 7850s is probably a beast, but I worry about the stuttering

I am never going to invest much in the case in these builds because I think for most in here overclocking and pushing the systems to its limits are never going to be something they are interested in doing at the very start. I want all components to be top notch to keep others set for years to come

So here is some updated pics of my rig, recently moved over from an 800D to a 900D. Finishing touches aren't complete yet. I plan to hide the tubing at the bottom portion of the case better and they still need to be sleeved. I also need to get two additional fans for the bottom radiator.
