I don’t see how NVIDIA will be able to move anywhere near as many 5090s as they did 4090s with these prices. Scalpers will eat right now but I don’t think the gravy train is sustainable.

Got a few crashes while watching youtube videos..SCreen freezes and have to hard reset with power button.
Kernel power 41, task category 63 on the log. Any ideas? Googling doesnt narrow it down at all.PSU/GPU/Software are all options.

I've learned from all my builds that ram is an issue most of the time. Test your ram

I spent like countless hours testing my old pc, and it turned out it was a PSU issue. It's so hard to diagnose pc problems.

Bought a 4070 Super yesterday, upgrading from a constantly crashing 3060ti.

Otherwise, I would've waited for a 5070 or a 5080 but who knows when stock will be available and if it will even sell at MSRP...it's a crazy game out here

Yea I would rather get something that’s going to last a few years so I am going to look for a 4070ti. Amazon has one for $1,300 is that a good deal or should I wait a few months and see if the prices come down

Prices wont be down for a while(maybe 6 months?) due to the tarriffs and scalpers so its up to you. $1300 isnt good but it aint bad either. 4070ti can run anything out so paying $1300 for a GPU that can run anything is good in itself.

it's a desert out here for anything reasonably close to msrp above the 4070 super. i'm still like "what if i had just gotten an XTX instead of the XT" back a few months ago when they were sometimes going under $800
