fukk it, I'm gonna say it...Tomb Raider has the best graphics of the year (maybe not from a technical polygon, individual grass blades shyt, shyt fukk standpoint , but from a purely visible one).

fukk a BF4 or Crysis 3 shyt just doesn't look as good to me

I've never cared for the art style in the crysis games, so I agree with you there.

I haven't seen BF4 on max 1440 yet so I can't comment on that

I want to reinstall Crysis 3 again on my PC. I never had the chance to try it out when I got my new video card. I'm sure it'll be quite the looker that'll knock me out to sleep though. [/Rico]

Far Cry 3 looked better than Tomb Raider to me.
i say that because TR was rather linear and was set piece after set piece whereas FC3
was a ridiculously large map and every hill, cliff, island, cave, base, river....i could go on and on but it was all just stunning.

I understand the concept, but it's ridiculous when you can't see something more than 200m away with a "sniper rifle"

Anybody else played Toki Tori 2? Pretty cool game. I hadn't played it in months but just jumped back into it for the sake of it and I kind of enjoyed my time with it.

I copped "Valdis Story" that shyt is kinda dope. It's kind of like "Super Metroid" or "Castlevania: SoTN":

It's a pretty simple looking game and so far nothing mindblowing but I copped it during the Steam summer sale . That Valdis Story does look cool though. I hope the game isnt' as slow as it looks in the video though..

Well the dude is kinda playing it half ass because he had the demo and was using a keyboard. You can use a 360 or whatever kind of controller you want. It's a lot faster paced than that video.

I'm talking about the framerate. It looked like it was running in 30fps with frequent dips but I'm sure it isn't locked to 30.

Oh my bad man. Nah it runs smooth as hell, way faster than that. I don't have FRAPS or anything but I'd say 60 FPS.

For shyts and giggles I ran the Tomb Raider benchmark on the 780 build and with the hair on and v-sync off and it was min 60 fps turn on v-sync and it doesn't go over 30 fps. when i turned off the hair the minimum fps was like 93. didn't notice a difference with v-sync so i guess its better to leave that off if its gonna butcher the fps so much.
