For shyts and giggles I ran the Tomb Raider benchmark on the 780 build and with the hair on and v-sync off and it was min 60 fps turn on v-sync and it doesn't go over 30 fps. when i turned off the hair the minimum fps was like 93. didn't notice a difference with v-sync so i guess its better to leave that off if its gonna butcher the fps so much.

That TRESS FX shyt or whatever it's called seems buggy as hell.

i just noticed my refresh rate was set at 24 so that's what it was when i changed it to 60 it dipped as low as 46 and had an average of 59. i'm probably gonna leave the hair on because this card can handle it but it does seem silly that she's the only one with good hair and everybody else gets traditional hair. i bet graphics cards can't handle multiple people with that kinda hair. maybe if i had amd.

yeah that one was a bytch. it's definitely one of those games where shyt seems impossible, but then you feel like a genius when you figure it out. great puzzle game. the art style and graphics are dope too. I guess the textures are actually all clay models and other 'real' objects

anyone know a tutorial to over clock my fx-9370? its at 4.4 (4.7 turbo). I just wanna push it to about 4.8 cuz i know at 5.0 i most likely will need a water cooler...

It is real buggy on an NVIDIA card, but when it works shyt looks so good. The flowing hair and (non-jaggy []) shadows

Edit: I'm getting desperate brehs. I might make the perhaps very stupid decision to jump to windows 8.1 (from win 7) so that i can play these new games with direct x 11.1 and 11.2 drivers.

I don't wanna do it, I know it's probably a mistake, but the BF4 problem is making me think win7 nvidia surround just ain't cutting it anymore. How are y'all liking win 8.1 with multi-monitor gaming? (please let there be somebody else out there doing this [i found like 3 threads on the entire internet about this and there were mixed reviews]).

well to be clear, BF4 is not 64bit "only" as it also includes an x86 exe. the new COD on the other hand is 64bit only

there's very few games that have a 64bit exe. I know the first Crysis had one, but I can't think of anything else

Yeah, I couldn't find much except 3dmark

So...it appears that everybody hates BF4 because of the errors. People are fukking pissed:

Honest to God, Windows 8.1 is a hell of an OS. The criticism towards the new Start Menu is very valid, and Windows RT is subpar but the actual operating system is a vast improvement over Windows 7. They have gotten rid of a few things that I miss, and there are still some driver/compatability issues but the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion.
