my brief BF4 review

campaign: slightly better than BF3. enemy AI is terrible, the levels are still too constricted, your team is kinda useless. story is terrible but irish and hannah have some decent voice acting
MP: havent played much, but im not having much fun yet. the shooting is very off. my shots seem unreliable in multiplayer. i havent earned many guns or accessories because i cant even make myself play it enough

either this game is a let down, or i am just tired of the FPS genre

You know, I probably would never play it (I've heard similiar reviews from others), but now that I can't, I want to play it more than any other game I have right now. It's so demonic

The campaign is better than 3 but it's still a terrible SP campaign. Killzone looks like it will have a campaign worth giving a fukk for.

My personal opinion is multiplayer is better on 32/48 player games especially if you only play with 1-2 friends. If you have a full squad then 64 player servers become more playable but just joining a random squad and not communicating on a 64 player server too much fukkery and no one completely objectives

32/48 you have way more control over the game yourself or with your friends and still a decent amount of players (remember they have a mode that allows the maps to be smaller versions)

the hit scans are pretty horrible right now... just as bad as when BF3 first came out.. I go fukkin crazy in squad chat @GoldenGlove done seen me go bad because I actually shoot people and nothing hits (like I dont just spray I actually aim and shoot, I got one of them expensive mouses and plastic/metal mouse pads for smoother / faster reactions )

When you get better guns / accessories for the guns is when it starts getting funner tho... a naked new gun is so fukking bad but once you get red dot sight / silencer or heavy barrel (whatever you prefer) and some ergo grip or whatever you start to kill shyt a lot faster and better and of course that makes it funner

now that they are patching the servers, maybe the MP will be worth the purchase alone, but i keep wanting something like BC2's single player, and i keep getting let down.

It's an insult to even THINK the campaign would somehow be just on par or worse than Battlefields. Hell every FPS campaign game I've ever played is better than what I played so far in BF4. Only it's graphics is the redeeming factor. Gameplay is pretty standard shooter fare and it's a little bit better but bleh. I had lots of fun with Killzone 2's SP.

the only thing that's worse than the enemy AI is the friendly AI. they both stand next to each other and don't shoot

even worse, when an enemy runs past you to get into a position the developers want him to be in before they start shooting

i just wish they would make the levels a sandbox where you choose how you attack the situation. stealthy or loud, attacking or setting ambushes. leave the scripted stuff to the games that have better writing staff and better level designers

dont think so, the onboard hdmi is based off the cpu's gpu

once you insert the gpu, it shuts it off right?
