Ok I just tested this on my cousins rig which has:

AMD FX 6300 stock speeds(3.6 GHZ)
2GB Nvidia GTX 660 Stock
Ballistix 8GB(2x4GB) PC3-10600(DDR3 1333mhz)
Windows 8.1 64-bit
Geforce WHQL 337.88 drivers

Settings were as follows:

1080P
60hz
Vsync 1
GPU Buffer Frames 1
Textures High

Custom Preset

Level of Detail/ High
Shadows/ High
AO/ HBAO+High
Motion Blur/ ON
DOF /OFF
Shaders/ Medium
Water /High
Reflections/ High
AA /SMAA

With these settings the framerate stayed above 35fps and hovered between 40ish and that was while driving through the street frantically getting chased by the police. On foot running depending on the scenery gave framerates in the 40s which is imo very playable. It was raining at night too. I tried MSAA 2x briefly and the performance seemed to be roughly the same.

If you put Vsync to 2 then it'll lock the frame rate at 30fps which keeps it consistent. The only thing that was annoying was this micro stutter that kept like pausing the game every few seconds which got annoying. Take that as you will..

1920x1200
adaptive vsync
window mode = borderless
gpu max buffered frames = 1
level of detail = high
shadows = ultra
reflections = high
AO = mhbao
motion blur = on
depth of field = on
water = ultra
shader = high

i'm still dissecting the different AA levels, but smaa & temporal smaa seems decent. The MSAA(s) hit too hard it seems. TXAA hits softer but I'm not a 100% fan of blur AA.

:wow: My goodness I didn't realize how fast my windows boot on a SSD compared to an HDD until last night. It literally takes 27 seconds for my PC to be at the desktop usable from the exact moment I hit the power switch. It goes through P.O.S.T. and loads up and I have it set to auto login so it's blazing fast.
I timed it with my phone :wow:.

Not fast enough, get with @2gunsup or @Orbital-Fetus to do something about that boot time :troll:

Even from the second you hit the power button though? :wow:
NOT FAST ENOUGH.

It should be ready to go from the second you let your finger off the button. You need 32GB of 2933 RAM, A QUAD SLI SETUP, A faster SSD and an INTEL HASWELL 4770K overclocked to 4.8 GHz.

YOU ARE SLOW. You will not be able to play watchdogs for long.
