this was a fanastic film. had no expectations going in or knew anyting bout the plot, and im not even one that is into these outcast/indie lowkey type films....but it was deep and very moving. i liked it very much. great cast too

decent movie, the "you know whats gonna happen scenes" didnt drag on for me which i liked

Movie made the main character too generic and not as emotionally and socially awkward as the book IMO. Patrick was perfectly casted. Skipped a few fine details here and there but stayed true to the book.

another coming-of-age all white casted movie when an absolutely beautiful, yet damaged and impossibly quirky girl (you know, who likes terrible 80s music and reads poetry) takes the average socially awkward geek (but is secretly a diamond in the rough with hidden talents only his hip young relatable teacher notices) and gets him out of his shell by showing him the real meaning of life and love through several wild and totally plausible one-time adventures with her and her cool outcast group of friends
