my girl and I went to watch Skyfall/Lincoln/Argo all of which were sold out and ended up with this movie, and we both loved it. Very deep movie; totally unexpected. Had NO idea it was based on a book until after
its not and I don't appreciate it being shoved in my face, movies like this is the reason I stop watching indies movies, this a guide for "This is why you shouldn't do this..
so you are attracted to a girl who has a gay step brother who hang out with a bunch of misfits. What did you think was going to happen. You had a better chance getting with the gay brother or one of her ugly friends than you ever will with her. And the only reason she all of sudden open to it at the end of the movie is because all her previous choices didn't work out. The twist in the end I didn't see coming but it only goes to show that had that not happen, maybe the kid would have been "normal" and not needed companionship that much in the first place.
I don't like the homoerotic agenda, gay suffrage is not the same as black suffrage
ultimately, i give the movie 3 out of 5 because emma watson is short, skinny and has short hair and is still very breathtaking. I still wish she grew her hair longer.
the book was quality my ex made me read it. saw the movie and thought it was pretty good as well.... i remember reading the book and i didnt really have any type of feeling about the twist i was like :ohh: when i read it.
This niguh Charlie was gonna fall in love with Patrick at the end. When he was feeling on his 1st girl chest. No reaction. Patrick kissed him. No reaction. I thought niguh was gonna say he was gay.[/quote]
All around good acting in this movie. Just too much gay propaganda which took away from the movie for my taste.
