Top 5 is a ballpark; it's not something set in stone. But it does have parameters (even if loose) and boundaries. Wayne does not qualify for any reasonable parameter and he is outside those boundaries.

Even though we can't prove Nas a top 5 all-time rapper objectively/all things considered, I know for damn sure Skyzoo aint.

Your thread is not based in any sort of reality. The statement “New research finds repeated false statements are more likely to be perceived as truthful, even when we have enough knowledge to contradict them.” does not in any way apply to hip hop. XXL can say Wayne is top 5, and a lot of people can agree, and that CANNOT be factually disproven. All you can do is disagree based off a set of parameters and guidelines that YOU have for YOUR own top 5. There is nothing we can factually judge a musician on other than record sales. Anything else is completely subjective.

So what is there really to discuss? This thread is garbage and that probably explains why only you and I are posting in it, and I’m only posting in it because I felt the need, as a kind human being, to point out how dumb the premise is and the fact that if you had the time to think about it before rushing to hit 'submit thread', you probably would have decided that it was better off just not making this thread at all, saving yourself the embarrassment and going on about your day.
