i too like labcabin better.
it showed a clear progression as mc's, artists and people who'd been exposed to the industry. leading to more cohesion. even if it wasn't all 4 together, it's clear lip and tre were on the same page. and still to this day it's those 2 who working together most and are performing bizzare ride in it's entirety ( might have been this weekend )
while bootie and imani released that humbolt ass album. which, like imani always proves, is very one dimentional. weed and $
i'd like to see a bootie solo. past 5-7 years he's been puttin in work and i salute that man.

I dont think it happened like that. I think it had more to do with Pharcyde breaking up. It was all around the same time and obviously he was producing for a lot of people besides Slum Village.
