When I was just a youngin my mom had this cool ass older black dude co-worker at the social service building she worked at, he introduced me to hip-hop/what i considered "black" music at 8. He gave me bizarre ride, miseducation of lauryn hill, and angie stone mahogany soul...i wanna find that dude and have a drink with him pause


besides buying the blueprint that was my first taste of hiphop i found on my own and not my older brother (being white in socal i got into hip hop later than most)

it really is a shame to look back on some music like this and look at what we have now :to:
