In hindsight the Beal trade was a mistake but it was in the spirit of trying to win. It didn’t work out like anticipated.

I can forgive an owner that tries to win and fails.
It was in the spirit of chasing a name and making a splash. If you have KD and Booker, Beal is the last guy you look at as a 3rd option...especially with a NTC. Beal coming in an playing D and being healthy woulda been the opposite of what you could realistically anticipate.

KD's post-Warriors career is  :picard:

Not all his fault but man... crazy

Low key Durant should've stayed in Brooklyn. Obviously they should've kept Kyrie and Harden but even with them gone he would've been respected more holding it down there and making the playoffs on a young team which is easier in the east. They probably would've been able to get a KAT, Jimmy Butler, Lillard or Jrue Holiday etc kind of player as well with the draft picks they accumulated and payroll. Would he have won a chip? Probably not but it would've looked better for him career wise instead of this dumpster fire.

So since 2022 and 23. The Suns and Mavericks got new ownership who completely destroyed their franchises. There has to be something done about this. It shouldn't be oh I got 450 billion, let me run an NBA TEAM into the ground.

Even after Harden left, he and Kyrie could have worked.
