The main reason why most Pixar movies have talking "Things" is because:

1. They are movies made for kids (Turn on the TV and go to a kids show 90% of them will have a talking something that isn't human).

2. Talking things are a lot cheaper to animate than humans

3. Merchandise

If you WANT to believe this Pixar Theory then it WILL make sense.

But of course its going to be easy to connect things when you have a company that makes animated movies that all follow the same formula..

Remember Scar's(The Lion King) cameo in Hercules as a floor rug? I guess that means that has to be some kind of connection between the two movies. Given enough time and creativity someone can create a connection between the two, trust me.

There also a cameo in the recent Disney movie "Frozen". It has the characters from "Tangled" in it.

All this theory is doing is putting a story together using cameos...

What about the theory about how Pixar ain't doing the "Incredibles 2" but are giving us another sequel to a movie that ain't needed. Finding Nemo was cool, but finding Dory? Her ass got caught by a fishing net, and is about to be served at Red Lobster.
