The play-in should only be played if the 9/10 seeds are within 3 games of 8

Someone tell me why the fukk SAC/DAL should have a chance to get into the playoffs if they are 8 fukkkng games behind the 8 seed? Adam Silver has ruined this league. Might as well make a play-play-in for the 11/12 seeds, right? Someone take this bald alien out back and put him down. End this idiotic play-in bs. Or just have it enacted when the 9/10 seeds are actually close to the 8 seed.

You’re not a real person. Since the NBA wants to give basically every teams a chance at the playoffs, may as well have a whole second “pre-playoff” bracket for teams 9-16 where the two finalists get to the play-in. Because obviously the league doesn’t care about regular season records that they’re allowing SAC/DAL to have a chance. Are you against that? Why they stopping at 10 seed? Dumbass league, dumbass fans who keep eating it up.

Should just bring back the old system although I understand that it expands the "playoffs" and NBA playoffs generate a more viewership and interaction, so it's good business

I'd argue the Eastern Conference didn't need this at all for there may only be 6 playoff teams worth giving a damn about.

In the West, once you realize that the 7th seed gets a game against the Cancun Grizzlies and the winner gets Houston, that starts feeling like a reward. America just jumps for anything where the loser dies so the NBA won't change this.
