I’ve put about $6k in to my $2500 car, but it now has a new transmission, fully refreshed front end suspension, overhauled cooling system, new timing chain guides and both camshaft variable valve timing units have been rebuilt, along with all the minor maintenance things taken care of as well (fuel filter, o2 sensors, fan clutch, a/c, etc). All parts used are oem or better. It’s at 200k and should easily go another 200 from here on out with no foreseeable major problems in the future.

I do all my own work though, so i know it’s an exception rather than rule, but it is doable to have a basically new car for ~$8500

Meh on the Jetta being a girls car. That's an outdated way of thinking about a Jetta.

Nice car. Drive that shyt proudly. That Nardo Grey'ish color looks good on it

The gli ain’t a normal Jetta at all
They’re already pretty quick stock and can make ~300 hp with light tunes.
And I know that interior is nice too

Plus that paint/wheel combo is :wow:

Get you some tints if you haven’t already, and enjoy it breh.

Got it a while back, it's a 2020 BMW M340i. The Driving Assist Pro (autonomous) option works great, I use it almost everyday on the freeway. Going from a 2015 335i M-Sport was a crazy jump. Decent gas mileage, excellent performance and technology is better then ever too
