i really hope johny keeps on his feet most of the time and doesnt georges grind out another decision win. i give hGhSP credit for the condit fight but welter needs a new champ.

chael needs to retire and join the wwe, that nikka is a goat shyttalker but his time is up. beating Flabbricio Rua means nothing.

I love GSP. I am a GSP fan. Do I get why people are not fans of his? Sure. He doesn't knock people out, and he doesn't finish. I get why other people aren't really interested in seeing him fight.

I like watching him fight because he just imposes his will on people. They are, for the most part, powerless to do anything about it. You want a stand up fight? I hope you like getting punched in the eye 1000 times. You want a ground fight? Do you like the smell of my arm pit? Your face is going to be in there for 25 minutes.

He can do whatever he wants, and you really don't have any say in the matter.

Chael doesn't need to retire. In his last nine fights, he has lost three. All of those losses were to the current champions.

He beat Stann, who was on a three fight win streak.

He beat Marquadt three years ago, after HE was on a three fight win streak.

He beat Okami after he was on a three fight win streak.

Dan Miller was a meh, but he beat all of the other guys when they were actually a name, and not what they are now.

I'm not saying that Chael is gonna make a run at the belt, I'm just saying his record should say more than what you're making it say.

Chael is still a top 6-7 MW in the world, why would he need to retire? Okami, Stann, Shogun and Bisping were all top 10 ranked wins and Marquardt was a top 5 ranked win. So he's beaten some pretty good competition. Plus, other than the Maia loss, Chael has only lost to the top 2 P4P fighters in the world (AS x2 and Jones). I'm only looking at his UFC career.

I like Chael a lot in this fight. Evans has been pretty underwhelming to me lately. Dude's best asset is his wrestling, and he's been too tentative to shoot. Now obviously Sonnen isnt gonna knock anybody out but his wrestling is his best asset, so i wouldnt mind watching these guys grapple it out.


As for GSP and Hendricks.....i think GSP is gonna go in with his normal gameplan, but he's gotta be careful. He wont get lucky like he did against Condit when he got dropped. Jonny wont hesitiate like Carlos did
