Which video did y'all watch? Five minutes into the cued part, she says that she was rejected by the Black kids in her public school. Host immediately changed the subject.
People are blaming "white media images" when she openly attributes it to seeking validation from others because she didn't get it from Black classmates.yeah but in her early development she went to an all black charter school until grade 3. There was no rejection then. Alot of us were rejected by certain groups of blk people, but didn't go to this extreme.
I guess you could go either way in this scenario

Every individual is different and will react differently, but I found it odd that host and people who weighed in completely avoided what she said.
What do you consume the most?
You have television media (Mostly white worshipping of CACs)
You have internet/social media (Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter) where the image and representation of black people isn't the best, especially with the c00ning and gender wars black people seem to be on
You have music (biggest black music genre is Hip Hop and RnB which 90% seems to be degenirate)
Positive black imagery and representation seems to be a small fish in a big ocean of negativity. Unfortunately it's hard to escape.
