When the black church had power there was unity. That unity was the name of the civil rights era.
You dont want a religious dimension in it fine, create another institution that can unite the people. You havent yet. But youre in here condemning the church as if the church is the reason why there is so much division amongst us today. When the church fell so too did any virtuous leader we have. Now our purpose is dispersed and now we have people looking to the likes of Jay Z as a role model.
The only civil rights 'leader' we have today is Al Sharpton, and even he rises from the black church. For you children vehemently against the black church name me one man that has risen from your ranks that can resemble a leader and has stepped up as a leader in light of the current crisis
