A lot of internet BW/BM have absolutely horrible relations with each other. They need to stop projecting their bullshyt on to everyone else. In reality, I do and I see black men and black women helping each other out all the time.

I think you got to the point of what I’ve been trying to say essentially thank you

I try to be an overall "decent" human being (obviously decent is relative to my moral compass) in general. I'm respectful of people and understandably I'm instinctively more protective of women and children and those that look like me.

but I'm also not an idiot, nor blind. And truth be told, while brehs are online talking this "protect black women" thing. A growing number of black women are online doing the opposite, and expressing sentiments such as;

Its just another bullshyt phrasing from black feminist. Its not grounding in trying to solve the issue, just kick up dust.

You can tell which men have gotten love and/or attention from Black women in their lives based on their attitudes and disdain at the thought of coming to aid a Black woman in need of help.

I have no problem with some of these men not wanting to intervene because they're scared of getting hurt and want to protect their well-being as that's understandable 🤷🏾‍♀️, however, it's their attitudes and disingenuous logic for why they chose not to get involved are what I don't like. To further disparage, rationalize, and come to conclusions to justify why that particular Black woman in question may be getting attacked/assaulted says a lot.

It tells me that they're not choosing to not intervene because of fear but because they have personal disdain and vendetta towards black women (due to individual experiences such as not getting love and attention) and feel this would “teach her a lesson” for ignoring them and/or their advances, such as that situation with the lady getting assaulted with a brick for rejecting a guy who asked for her number.

Sadly there are a lot of men who take solace in seeing women, especially Black women getting what they feel is “deserved” to the point it's like a sick fetish for some 🤦🏾‍♀️😒 but, luckily my man or men I interact with offline aren't like that.
You won’t protect someone you're in competition with
This is why I love bm. Yall say this but you don't really mean it.

Yall not helping women who look like they be starting shyt all the gd time. Luckily, they make themselves obvious.

I keep telling decent women to stop with them lashes and nails and shyt. You're wearing the uniform of the unruly and will be handled accordingly, by EVERYBODY. Bm, police, other women, store owners, etc.

I agree with every last one of these post. But the nuance will be missed in all 3. Based on bias, words that trigger, and the messengers.

Black men have degraded the image of the black woman. And helped popularize the image of the very black women they now dont want to protect. Did you notice the protection in that thread about the Somali woman beat by her brother? Because she was from a muslim country, where men have standards for women. It was immediately assumed she must be pure and worthy of protection. No questions about what shes been tweeting about black men,or if she did something to deserve it.

So what happens when a group of men degrade the image of our women, and create low standards? Conciously or subconsciously she will now be viewed by the world as not worthy of protection, possibly deserving of being attacked. So how can you even compare the "protect black women" propaganda. With the decades worth of propaganda from black men demonizing black women, degrading their image, bringing charicatures of unruliness to the forefront?

The seed of hate and conpetetion against our women definitely exist within black men due to our programming. Of course it works the same vice versa, but if you are unaware, and use cognitive dissonance to deny it. You will continue the cycle of propaganda. Even now most of yall men are spreading propganda by telling black men to not protect black women they dont know. Because they MIGHT be on some bullshyt. Rather than letting a man do what any wise man does, and was already doing. Which is react based on his instinct, situationally.

And HarlemHottie is right about the uniform as well. But black men bare responsibility for the uniform and how its viewed. But your comment is based in reality. Just like a black man WILL be profiled if hes wearing a hoodie,or in a certain car, whether its right or wrong. Its not a justification, its just the facts. People have the right to adjust or not adjust on principle.

But beware, you cant tell black women to beware of the uniform. Without holding thecoli accountable for pushing propaganda to dismiss women regardless of their uniform. Because in 10 years it will turn to "Well women in pencil skirts and blouses should wear hijabs if they want protection:francis:"

Your statement is one for sensible people. Not men who are looking for countless excuses to why women may deserve a beat down. Give em a inch and they will take a mile. And this is from someone who doesnt believe women should have equal rights per se. But I dont believe barbaric or unempathetic men should be apart of that discussion on the limitations :respect:

Maybe I'm reading too deep into the shyt and maybe I got my simp goggles on a little too tight.
might need to talk with my optometrist
but don't expect me to be on some the black woman can do no wrong steeze either
however
the notion that we don't intervene on one another, or check to see if a mfer needs assistance
look out for one another
ain't just gonna end with these women and hoes.
That's the biggest problem with mfers, and no, it ain't just black people
but Americans in general
motherfukkers always wanna past the buck or come up with excuse, after excuse
as to why they aren't apart of a community
but then wanna cry that the sky falling
in our case about black mobility
Cause one thing I learned
it never just stops at the woman, it extends in itself.
like a stutter step.
First its "well why should I care some loudmouth thot catching the fade like ol boy in Meance II Society"
then it goes to
"well why should I care some dusty ass breh getting hassled by the police etc. cause he hang at the gas station all day"
I mean shyt
motherfukkers already get annoyed they gotta pay taxes for other peoples kids
So maybe we're half way there this whole time.

1 Peter 4:8-11. 8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms

Sounds to me that you're basically talking about capitalism. As Margaret Thatcher said, "there is no such thing as society". Of course she and Reagan were on the same page. Oh and she also said "There is no alternative".

What you're talking about didn't come out of thin air.

Theres alot of black women and men in graveyards because black men did nothing. Think very deeply about what I just said.#TheChildOfMan:wow:

If black men portrayed ourselves and our women better. If black men made better choices in women. If black men raised better daughters and sons. The black men who harm black women, and the black women who chose them and create them wouldnt be running rampant. Black men have created a self sustaining factory, that creates disfunction. Who exactly do you expect to fix it,the women.#TheChildOfWoman?:wow:

Black supremacy is real, and its the black mans version of white supremacy. Its our job to set things right. You moving like Peter right now, wanna walk with God until the funk come. Not to mention Peter Parker, when he did nothing and his uncle got shot. We let too many black men slide with small things, that eventually lead to catastrophic things. You all are missing the little things you let slide, the brick/murder is the amalgamation of those little things:respect:

Women that you know (family, friends, wife) or women who are clearly in circumstances deserve protectioin. Random women who go around provoking situations don't. There's a reason why there was a generation of extremely belligerent women who felt comfortable talking crazy to men, hitting them, etc., and it's because they had a simp army backing them and whenever it came time to cash that check their mouth wrote, they went and got a man to fight for them. Sorry, not going to back that kind of behavior or put my life on the line for that.

A woman innocently walking out of the gas station and getting harassed by some lame, thirsty dude, sure she absolutely deserves protection.

The woman that got bricked up has a reputation for talking greasy with men and hitting them. She's out and about in dangerous environments (clubs) at all hours of the night, talking crazy to men. Expecting men to back you up after you've established a reputation like that is betting on a losing game.

Ultimately, men protect those they know those under their leadership. They are simply not putting their lives on the line for a woman who is belligerent, says she doesn't need men and constantly attacks men verbally and physically.

Somewhat related.

This woman lost her life because some piece of shyt Pookie couldn't control his emotions.

Ok.

And?

I don't understand, I wasn't talking about capitalism at all.

It's sad, but once two people have already gotten into it, it's better to stay out of it and maybe call the cops at the most. Way too many innocent folks get killed trying to break up dusty behavior, and in the meanwhile those dusty individuals get to keep living and causing havoc.

You are 100% correct on all fronts. Thank you especially for the bolded. It was the point I was trying to make in the other thread about who is worthy and not worthy of protection. If its an American Black woman, the goal post will always be moved about why she deserved harm no matter how chaste she is in her daily life. I did peep your comment about this in the Somali thread and agree with you completely.

And just to add on to your point about "the seed of hate", every time I'm on here I see women being referred to as "hoes" in the general sense. Meaning not a particular woman. Just as a way to describe Black women in general. The hate and contempt are real for a lot of people and no matter what is corrected, it will never be enough. There's a lot of Black people that simply don't see the value in other Black people.
