:francis:Westbrook is a 2 guard..
Back in the :hamster: days I made the argument that he Rose and I believe it was bayless... i can't recall.. but these guys are scoring guards that jus run point... yea yall can point at assists numbers (Westbrooks best season) but.. he's not getting players open... I compare this to Allen Iverson. . It's like he would find the player at almost the last min for the assist instead of leading the player to get open and then the assist.. Russells mentality is always to score.. he and Durref are like Lebron and wade.. in the sense of.. it feel like they jus take turns scoring or taking over the offense.. when it's late in games russ wants to score..it seems like he gets tunnel vision and jus sees the basket.. No one last night felt like ok... if russ can't score he's going to find the open man.. It also could be that he doesn't trust anyone but KD :ld:
But With cam payne (great name :lolbron:) if they can develop him into more of a facilitating guard and move russ to the 2 things will be Better

Nah the problem is they only have 4 guys on their team that can score at all and only 1 that can shoot. They've never been able to find another wing that can shoot and defend. And really they need 2 so they can play KD at the 4 at times

Westbrook was a 2 in college, they pushed him to be a PG but ain't he like top 5 in assists? :patrice:

i think the problem is just getting others involved throughout the game and especially down the stretch (4th Qtr)..

Having a more flow oriented PG would answer this

OKC allows 103.3 points per game on average.
That's 7th in the Western Conference, and 18th in the NBA overall.

That's their problem.

And yes, Golden State is worse on that list. But Golden State scores 115 points per fukkin game.

:coffee:

Realistically though, they're fine.
They're 22 games over .500 and should finish the season as the 3 seed.

Are they good enough to beat GS or SA? Probably not. I don't think they're as deep.
But things happen. Players get injured...players get hot/cold.

We'll see.

Defense depth and late game execution

Until they fix those things they can't win it all

Absolutely nothing changes if you move him to SG. He's just a ball dominant player who needs to run an offense in order to be at his best
