The major problem with the Ray Rice fiasco is that he is being punished TWICE for the same crime even AFTER he was already PUNISHED. I thought this was another tape of a different incident, but its the same incident and yet he is punished TWICE for the same incident. Unacceptable. :answerscust:
The first tape released was Ray Rice dragging his fiance out the elevator. The second tape released was Ray Rice pounding his fiance in the elevator before the doors opened. His first punishment was for 2 days suspension based on the domestic assault charge. It was the same incident from different views. The punishment to suspending him indefinitely was based on the second video.

However, it's really the NFL and NFLPA's fault for not having a rule about what happens after a domestic assault charge. There's rules for drug use, DUIs, etc. If they had a rule in place, then all they would have had to do was hand out the punishment based on that rule and be done with it.

So I agree with FTBS. Roger Goodell is a hypocrite. In BountyGate involving the New Orleans Saints paying a bounty for injuring other players, Goodell said "ignorance is not an excuse." And now, we have Goodell saying he never saw the tape in the first place. But according to records, the NFL was made aware. Now, can we say to Goodell, ignorance is not an excuse?

The problem with Roger Goodell is that he's an inconsistent, lily-livered, liar and those chickens have returned to the crib. The fact that he decided to make himself the NFL's daddy is the exact reason why everybody is on his head now. This wouldnt' happen to Tagliabue because he stayed in his lane and didn't play Mr. "I Run this shyt" :smugbiden:.

Tags would've NEVER approved that SI cover sitting on the Kings Landing throne. But Roger couldn't resist because of his ego.

I wish, but the NFL is too autocratic. Teams (minus GB) are private corporations and the owners rule with impunity.

As pathetic as this may seem, he is being placed in the same sentence with guys like OJ, Rae Carruth, and Vick. That's disgusting.
:usure:what human did Vick get accused/convicted of killing? Stop regurgitating that mass media BS.

stfu OJ, Rae Carruth, A. Hernandez makes better sense than adding Vick in there.
Calm your fake fukking militant ass down, those three that I have mentioned are the most HATED and NOTORIOUS NFL players today REGARDLESS of the crimes they have committed. It doesn't take killing a human to be hated and notarized by whitey.
