Quarter zips are on the same level as a three piece suit now lol. Like I thought it was just a shirt to throw over a button up on a cool day Soooo many thoughts and think pieces on a shirt

Brehs mad because they've been wearing quarter zips to the office for years and now that this "movement" has gone viral they think they'll be seen as trend hoppers. They're nervous their coworkers are going to call it out like they haven't been wearing them the whole time

This is mostly a meme and will fade away. NBA2K and Wendy's are just trying to go viral along side it. The think pieces and NYTimes "look at what these black kids are doing" articles aren't necessary. It's not that serious.

In the late 90s it was the over sized fleece pullover. It was half or quarter zip...I was in like elementary/middle. It's pretty much the same principle. It fit in that urban preppy era of Tommy Hilfiger, nautica, polo etc.


And Like 15 years ago I had the Northface version that was fitted and had a puffy vest over it.


Those things were just normal. I'm like how can it be a trend when it always been available and brehs been was rocking Northface for a long time.
