yall give jay z too much credit for this era tbh :hubie: it was a mixture of clubs having a strict dress code and Kanye west influence maybe Jay-Z influence the older millennials but as someone who was a teen and early 20s in the late 2000s and early 2010s we didn't care about no damn jay z :mjlol:
I'm roughly in the same bracket as you. Kanye had a bit more influence on us because he covered our coming of age years but Jay had some also. Us not caring about Jay-Z must be where you from or something.

But that's burying my overall point which is that both generations as they hit that early adulthood tried doing something to come off more mature than they are, particularly fashion wise. Gen X rebels without a cause asses were probably the anomaly.

The oldest person in Gen Z is like 26/27 I hope to God they have an office job tf :dahell:
You say this like we haven’t all seen the last 25 years of economic turmoil, recessions, and men being told to not get office jobs but instead learn a trade.

:francis: shyt ain’t rosey…

Though I would go deeper and say if the oldest are 27 that means there is about a decade of Gen Z in the work place so year this makes a lot of sense as they get use to being in office environment

First matcha now quarter zips. Why do I gotta be punished cause brehs is super late to the scene?! Reminds me of the white people thinking they came up with a new food idea/hack that’s been around for years. Watching people tell on themselves will never not be funny tho.

I'm so confused. Just wear the quarter zips. That's the out of control main character syndrome that Gen Z. Why do they have to announce it like it's something out of this world or new fashion wise. It's a sweater that the corn ball manager has been wearing for decades :mjlol:
