Steals blocks and Defensive rebounds are a huge part of defense  ESPECIALLY defensive boards.

so is Durant a better defender than Bron, then? :stopitslime:

Also, they average the same number of defensive boards and steals per game, with Durant averaging .3 more blocks a game. You dudes are making it seem like it's a huge discrepancy. What's interesting is that Durant averages more turnovers per game despite Lebron making the main ball handler and facilitator for his squad.

There's a big difference between being "solid" and being the most versatile defender in the league and a lock for 1st team all defense. Basketball is a two way sport. If guys are about the same offensively and one is clearly superior and more valuable on defense, why wouldn't he be the MVP? Unless you're trying to say that Lebron is in fact not clearly superior and more valuable on defense. In which case, you're wrong.

You're bringing up numbers that have little relevance in a discussion about defense. It's like saying some average ass cornerback is better than Revis because he has more interceptions and tackles.

So who has more blocks per game is a useless measurement of defense and steals per a game don't really matter..:what: is wrong with you dudes. You don't know how many shots were altered, hell you don't even know how many times dudes chose to just not shoot the ball due to Durant length defensively (nh).

Durant and LeBron are just as valuable to each of their teams, If either go down neither team is winning a championship thats all that matters

They both have similar Usage rates and ball handling duties what in the hell are you talking about, lebron does have the better TOR though. None of this matters anyway.

Thats nice and all but Durant is playing better than last year also, and their stats are comparable...so your point is.......?

You keep bringing up this number 1 seed in the conference, well do you want to compare which conference is more competitive :mjpls:?

OKC has a better record than the Heat, The Heat would be sitting at 4th in the West, while OKC would be 1st in the East :guilty:
The Heat are 17-5 against the West. The Thunder are only 12-6 against The East. :usure:

LeBron's last 10 games -

29.5ppg
8.2rpg
6.5apg
1.2spg

.606 FG

Amazingly, Harden is actually creeping up on KD and Lebron stat-wise. He's not quite there yet but I think he has a chance to end up with an EFF similar to KD's.

Harden's last 10 games:

28.8 ppg
6.4 rbp
6.5 apg
1.8 spg

.544 FG

It'll be interesting to see how long he can keep up those numbers.
