I strongly reject #2, on the grounds if you have a strong preference for black women like I do. You more than likely find white women attractive very sparingly. The correct stat to measure "loyalty" is the stat for dating and casual encounters - which is impossible to measure.

I get your point---but I would argue the better stat is marriage and kids because at the end of the day, that is what determines the continuity of the Black community as we know it. If people "explore their options" dating but still have Black kids with a Black spouse, the community demographics are relatively stable. Many mixed people do identify as Black but much less percentage wise than in decades past.
