Jigga has a track record of delivering great albums after he drops duds, next one may be flames
Dynasty followed by BP
Blueprint 2 followed by TBA
KC followed by AG
Bp3 followed by WTT
Just sayin:manny:
altho this is accurate, I dont think jay feels MCHG is weak like he did KC and bp3....so I dont think he feels the need

2015 has been a great year for hip hop but...

3 years since the last Nas album :mjcry:

2 years since the last Hov album :to:

The game needs it...
No release dates brehs? :lupe:

Agreed it makes me sick when people who dont like rap make fun of it and I try to defend it with rappers who havent dropped in 5 years. They hear shyt like Future and sum up all of hiphop with that trash

i'd like one from each but i'm not that bothered if we don't get one any time soon.
i'd be happy enough if LIG was Nas last album and i don't think Jay feels that he would have to bounce back from MCHG either.

We really don't. I love Jay-z and Nas' music but Hip Hop doesn't 'need' them for anything at this point. They are at the end of their careers. It is time to let newer artists with different stories, different perspectives, and different styles to move forward.

I am with @gator_king and @RichYung

Yall bugging, sorry but I personally have enjoyed the shyt dropping from dudes like Snoop, Nas, Dre, Kanye, etc. all of their last projects were mostly age appropriate and true to them (even if people hate Yeezus, it's what he wanted to do/say). Jay has always been more flighty so I can do without his billionaire ballin name drops....

i really don't understand why some of yall are so opposed to hip hop expanding and creating lanes for both the old, those in their prime, and the new

Life is good was fukking garbage I haven't played along off that shyt since it came out

I actually liked Life is Good but I'm noticing outside of Illmatic, It Was Written and Stillmatic Nas' albums lack replay value for me. I liked God's Son, Untitled, Hip Hop is Dead and Life is Good the first time I heard them but I rarely go back and play them outside of a few select songs

Untitled is like Nas's American Gangster to me. It was decent
