They can't van vleet might be better than Lowry at this juncture

Siakam is better than Ibaka

Miles the only legit three point threat

Jonas been playing great but poetl is still the better defender and esp against small teams

Delon and van vleet are also the best defenders at guard
Lowry’s minutes will increase in the post season that’s why they cut his pt back. There’s nothing that supports Fred being better than Lowry.

Siakam just needs that consistent jumper. I imagine come playoff time team will dare him to shoot. He is essentially energy/hustle/defense guy who gets his points on the fast break after a turnover. Come playoff time, the game slows down and becomes more half court that's where he really needs a consistent jumper.

Nah he didnt have the size, strength or foot speed, neither did PJ Tucker...

Siakam has already locked up Giannis once this season....hes got the speed and length to be an issue on a big 3 or 4
Nobody can stop Giannis. And funny enough demar Carrol did a good job on giannis last year. But when it comes to bron he’s too little

I think he’s the one that will see situational minutes in the post season. They can plug vanvleet/delon/Poetl/miles anywhere with the starters but siakim is an issue teams will dare him to shoot.

Wonder why delon Wright and cj miles haven’t been me ntioned here either.

Siakam put the clamps on him last game...Giannis is easier to slow down than LeBron....The key is too force him into jumpers, his shot has gotten better but thats what you still wanna do with him...Clog up the middle take away space inside and make him shoot mid range, you can do that by sagging off then invading his space on close outs.

We have the size and versatility on defense we havent had before.....Carroll is too small but hes also with his knee injuries not as great defensively as he was with Atlanta 3 years ago....Raptors never got the same guy that he was with the Hawks...

Siakam will still be able to score off cuts and movement off the ball which the second unit does so well...Ur not gonna see siakam shoot jumpers and 3 balls in the playoffs suddenly.

Delon is still a great talent his three point shot is coming along as long as he is healthy he has the potential to be an all star but it just shows you how great Toronto's bench is that he has been relegated in terms of conversation in addition to Miles who went off in the 4th last night against Brooklyn.

The fact that Van Vleet went undrafted after his college career at Wichita State showed just how dumb some NBA scouts are. Too much metrics and not enough basketball. Guys like him and TJ McConnell are in the league because they are out working guys with more "physical" talent. These guys make up for their lack of height and wingspan, with everything else.
