Not fan of the raptors, but people get too caught up in what happened in the past. They used to say the Mavs was not built for the playoffs before they won the championship. when things click, anything can happen.

All you have is history to judge the future homie. This is how earth works. Dirk was a choker till he wasn't...Jordan couldn't win till he did...is what it is

Ima tell you this, as a Raptors fan

Until this year, we knew our teams limitations

We KNEW we werent beating LBJ

We FEARED LBJ

When we found out we had to play CLE, maaan, we knew it was over

but THIS year, WE DONT FEAR CLEVELAND

Now these Raps may choke again, who the fukk knows, and frankly, Im not mad at yall having the presumption that they will choke

I get it

this is a historically soft ass team

but EVERYTHING we ve seen from them indicates this year is different

- were tougher
- we have more depth
- we shoot better
- we move the ball better
- we have a much better record to show for it
- we have had those moments this year where we stepped up, when in years past, we wouldve folder

its a special feeling up here in the North, and Im not talking casuals, I mean amongst basketball fans.....we truly feel this year something different is in the air

I dont see ANY reason why we shouldnt be in the finals

it truly is finals or bust this year

now obviously we are not beating a healthy GSW....but I think we can take 1-2 games from them, we've been matching up with them very well, all our games have been competitive

and if its the Rockets, i honestly believe we can beat them

A rational fan, I dig it :salute:

I really can't see lebron magically stepping it up to beat the raptors, at some point fatigue will set in. As long as the raptors bench stays reasonably healthy than they'll be aight. The real reason why toronto is winning, comes down to their bench.

Casey already said hes not abiding by some arttificial rule that he has to shorten his rotation

if we keep up our play, we;ll be running teams out the fukking court

whats Lebron gonna do, play 45 mins every night?

i dont think fatigue will play a factor in it. if the raptors win it will be because they just have the better team. lebron can put up huge numbers and the team still lose because they have no rim protection. thats a huge hole that they wont be able to fill.

however in a tight game coming down the stretch i would trust bron more than derozen. derozen may attempt more 3s this year but he doesnt shoot a high percent and you know he will revert to what he knows, the mid range pull up. it wont matter if the raptors are blowing them out though, so we will just have to wait and see. we still dont know what the cavs are and wont know until the playoffs.

The Cavs defensive problems are mostly Lebrons fault. I think he flips the defensive switch in the playoffs.

Whose the big man in that team defensively?

They don’t have a shot blocker but him refusing to close out on his man, rotate, etc was really detrimental to them defensively. If he shows even average effort it will help them tremendously .

They revamped that 2006/07 finesse team into a team of battle tested vets at the tail end of their primes around Dirk. Toronto got Ibaka then alot of youth. Thats a big diff
