Bleek has classics and has featured on mad classics.

Jay and the streets put the pressure on him to be something he wasn't destined to be, he was just a good rapper. Same with Tony Yayo before the album (everyone loved Yayo before he came out and "flopped" and turned into a joke).

Bought all them albums out the store. I can't lie, I was a ROC fiend so I bought a LOT of their stuff...Jay was/is my guy, so of course Bleek was in rotation...

Bleek was a solid cat, maybe not commercial enough, but had tough rhymes and a style all his own. Since I first heard him on "It's Alright" on the Streets is Watching soundtrack (a tight one at that lol) I liked his raps.

Man I was heavy into Jay-Z in my HS days...had the school KNOWING not to step to me about anything other than Hov and the ROC. Bleek was my fav tho cuz he represented that underdog. He was like the "little brother" of the crew, and I identified with that lol
