@marcuz , Even though studies suggest married women are miserable, let's not act like there's not a stigma attached to women of a certain age that aren't married. Even I wanna get married one day. I mean if it doesn't happen then eff it, it just doesn't happen. I'll just adopt a bunch of kids and work on trying to turn my mama's lil mom and pop shop into an empire (wishful thinking)..

I think the stigma is society's way to keep women feeling insecure. I've just recently seen more articles pop up praising women for remaining childless and single and not getting guilted into chasing a man down for marriage. It's refreshing.
