Until Kdot has the impact and longevity as great and long as Drake then he cant make no claims on nada

Not saying I agree or disagree with backslash but what I think he is referring to is not sales so much as is success and transcending the music business . Also all the hip hop icons had huge tours and became household names at least in the black community and the 25 and the under crowd in the pop world. Kendrick it still remains to be seen.

All Kendrick is doing is setting the stage for his next album after it drops is to be considered in the converstion similar to when TI proclaimed himself as King of the South. If he had never done that would he have been brought into the conversation and received the same publicity?

I don't have any problems with Kendrick. Dude keeps on surprising me. He is improving and you gain confidence after every success, so I expected him to get cocky sooner or later. I just hope he continues to put out good music and keep these artists on their toes. He is blowing up right now but I don't think we have seen the best he has to give yet. Now that is scary.

I'll simply say Kendrick just isn't that good of a rapper. People are getting excited over him changing his voice several times in a verse. That shyt is s gimmick to hide the fact that HE DOES NOT HAVE BARS.

I heard this first album and it was boring as fukk. I'll admit I've only heard a couple songs off his last album but I can't remember any verses or lines from....actually his most popular line is the "girl I know you want this duuuck". That's one hit wonder type shyt.
