I wonder what D.Rose diet is like, I don't know what LeBron eats but I can see him being very diligent with what he puts in his body, of course an HGH milkshake for dessert doesn't hurt

What you eat is like 75% of training
Probably changed when he got to the pros but

Teammate Says Candy Diet Fuels NCAA Star

A teammate says that for breakfast, Rose eats "gummy bears and Starburst." For dinner, he switches to "Twizzlers and Honey Buns." Reporters didn't get a chance to ask Rose about his diet. He missed a pre-game media session because of stomach trouble.

Reporters give their impressions of Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley
Dan Wolken can confirm the tales of Derrick Rose and his candy fetish.

"I've seen inside his backpack where he has Twizzlers and Sour straws, whatever they call them," said Wolken, who covered Rose and Memphis for the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

"The kid eats ridiculous amounts of candy. He's going to have to change that. For his sake."

:Fohruss: No sir

Actually its more about the power in which they land WITH the angle of their knees in relation to their feet.

Also, Rose is fast as fukk and im pretty sure he runs on his toes just like Lebron. In fact Rose lands with his knee infornt of his foot most times. So that aspect of running is irrelevant. Its the force and angle in which he lands.

Rose' very FIRST acl tear was a result of his body trying to compensate for groin and ankle issues and his knee couldnt take it, because his knees werent over his toes, but all of his injuries accumulated on the same leg.

Most of this, i don’t think people realize that most of these nba/nfl stars push their body beyond their biomechanical limits, you aren’t built to run the speeds they do, change direction on a dime, jump the heights they jump, repeatedly might i add, at the weights they weigh, 82 or 17 games damn near in a row.

The best way for him to land, actually needed to be analyzed and implemented, but it’s not his toes, landing with all that force, on your toes, puts a lot of stress on your acls period....

Yes...being bowlegged helps reduce the impact that travels from the foot to the knee. It displaces the shock from it more than someone with straight legs.

I played football until i was 28 and never had a knee injury of any kind because Im slightly bowlegged.

I’d love to see the research on that hot take, because most research points to no....

Congrats on never getting hurt, but having knee valgus, puts undue strain on your meniscus, and alters normal biomechanics, you actually don’t absorb jumps better, you actually put a lot more strain on your body

What he’s describing is the opposite of a knee valgus.

A slight outward tilt of the knees, not necessarily to the point of a knee varus

Good vid, something I hadn't really thought about.

Had to do some film study afterwards and I have some good news for Knicks fans...Even though Frank Ntilikina only averages 5-2-3 on 35% shooting...HE'S A MOTHERFCKING TOE RUNNER!! :blessed:
