You gotta be joking breh, there are plenty of African Americans who wrote and played their own music that got robbed blind and died broke.

These dudes were one hundred percent complicit in every part of taking credit for someone else's work, and all it took was a cac offering them a thousand dollars. There were cats in the 30s-70s that turned down much more money only to be muscled into a shotty contract at gun point. These dudes were straight up sell outs from day one.

did you read what was posted?

I know the story. Long story short, a crooked white man got 2 black guys to sell music using their looks. They wanted to sing on their 2nd album and fear he would expose them, Frank exposed them first and put it all on them and the media really bought into these 2 guys stealing this music and being the mastermind behind all of this with no one knowing but them. white folks..

Amazing thread which should be read for folks trying to get in the game. Milli Vanilli's story is a prime example of desperation downplaying sense. Now these naive artists signing their souls away for the limelight, only to get fukked something terrible. These dudes got the worst end of the stick:dwillhuh:.

  • Forgotten
  • Albums being out of print
  • The original singers getting dikked
  • Manager escaping with the money
  • No royalties at all
Such a shame:francis:
