Are you sure they're black-owned? I know of an Ethiopian food restaurant around my neighborhood where all of the employees are black but the CEO is some white guy.

i can't say with 100% certainty but if they have the outward appearance of being black owned, what's the difference? im just saying we do support other blacks that are out there trying to get in the food industry.

hell, went to pay my power bill the other day and there was a black lady selling peach cobbler and banana cream pie out of her trunk. there was a small line of black folks picking up from her, myself included

i dont know if i believe that :patrice:

there's plenty of successful black food-based businesses in south central. hell, that's about one of the few areas where i see black business thrive. we've gotta rib joint, soulful spot, burger spot, fried chicken spot, jamaican food spot, etc all in a concentrated area, and they do well for themselves.

Now name the banks, schools, hospitals, libraries, etc :mjpls:

exactly. We'll come up with a million excuses as to why their presence in our communities is okay. The fact that you can go in any predominately black community and see that everything is owned by other groups should raise a big red flag. Let us try that shyt in their communities and they'll throw us out. Were the only people dumb enough to allow our communities to economically raped by another race.

Exactly....nikkas will get offended by this though...smh...black men don't want to be critiqued on anything but we critique everybody else especially black women
