Gimmicks like this... You have to be physically imposing/intimidating. It's the Kane and Undertaker effect on supernatural characters in pro wrestling. Wyatt was neither of those things. Just a fat ass clown.
Fat Ass Bray was never gonna get over long term. They glamor him up all you want, but once the lights come on. It was like he loses all steam outside of a few select moments and feuds.
Slim down Bray can go places, tho.
It's just hard to take beer bellies seriously in wrestling anymore.

It's WWE...they fukk everything up. 
Maybe he'll be booked better for awhile but it won't be enough to make him into a legit star and bigger than the brand.

I think it would be dope if he wrestled as the Funhouse host character on RAW's occasionally as a total whitemeat babyface with the smiling and over exaggerated fake happy mannerisms while also showing occasional flashes of the Fiend side coming out of him during the match (maybe not breaking the 5 count on a choke out of nowhere etc)
that way you can have him wrestle more often without overexposing the Fiend stuff. That character should only wrestle on PPV. Make it a special attraction.

I think it's going to be the same issue as with the whole "eater of worlds" thing. Cause havoc for the first few months and do a ton of talking that ultimately ends up going nowhere.
OG Mankind is just as legendary as taker and kane as far as supernatural/intimidation go... and Foley was out of shape as all hell and regular height
