Unless things have changed since '05 (Which they could have) I don't buy the whole "Refs are told to finish the count no matter what" theory. In Wrestlemania 21 when Shawn faced Angle, Angle took too long to kick out at one point, and Tim White stalled for him and clearly held his hand up longer before bringing it down for the three count so that he could kick out, because he knew who was supposed to win

He would have needed that car waiting in the back like Earl Hebner at the Montreal Screwjob
Nah, could've just ran out the door and rode shotgun with a stranger like Orton did a few months ago on Raw. :mjlol:

EDIT: Nevermind, someone else already brought it up

They also said it was Vince's call to end the streak and not Taker's...if so what a stupid move

Don't the refs get told when to 'go home'?

It was one of three media worthy things about mania. It was probably the biggest thing to happen to wredtling
It was a great moment though and happening at 30 makes sense and it's shocking that it's Lesnar and it wouldn't have been if it was Cena

Makes sense because his reaction after he counted the pin, he looked like he felt he fukked up

Yeah it was bizzare, the whole thing felt off.

They need to do a book on the streak and it ending. This ending is like a minor Montreal screwjob as it was a shock to the whole world besides 3-4 people

New link:

You actually see the ref continuously waving it off RIGHT after he counts to 3 (2:02)1:48. He didn't know what the fukk to do. Dudes heart was probably racing a trillion beats per millisecond :mjlol:

Edit: That big gulp he does at 2:24 2:07 :dead:

That's the sheets talking but we'll know who's decision it was one of these days :yeshrug: Why would you say it's a stupid move?
