Yeah, that was a riveting finale and I really didn't expect him to learn how to fly an actual plane with passengers :wow:

That is high stakes and certainly puts his rehearsal skills to the next level, although I don't know if he fixed the pilot communication issue :skip:

Great callback to the Wings of Voice now down to the final 2 :mjlol:

Nathan didn't have a scene partner as good as the lady from S1 though.

So He failed at congress and didn't change anything? he didn't even address it anymore in the finale.
@TheNatureBoy @Nero Christ @Lootpack Please help lol.
Like the whole point was that he wanted to show congress the issue of captain/co-pilot conflicts and if that fails, find some solution to show them.

He didn't even address it after the flight, just showed the wings of voice shyt.

what's going on? LMAO

I mean getting Congress to better address how pilots communicate was always going to be a tall task :skip: . I just think he pivoted or maybe even knew ahead of time, his big grand finale would be flying the plane.

S1 had a similar turn where it started with helping individual people rehearse and morphed into him living with that lady and raising a child.

He proved his overall point that everyone is too scared to speak up to a captain. No one had a problem with Nathan Fielder the comedian flying a Boeing despite how insane it was lol...not the copilot, not the 150 actors, not HBO. And along the way probably also showed that pilots can easily hide their mental health to get in the cockpit

I think he lowkey gave up on meeting congress when the one senator blew him off, and the other one he did meet, showed very little interest and didn’t even know all the technical terms about autism.

Chances are he was never gonna be approved to sit down in front of a committee especially when he’s true motives are a lot more devious than what he claims.

“I’m a pilot too, I guess :ld:

We should all be thankful that Nathan got into comedy/public service. A couple of bad breaks and he would have became a terrorist or some other kind of societal menace.

I wasn't nervous about the flight because he had Aaron with him, and Aaron's a pro with 5000 hours logged and also in the TV business so he's loose :ehh:

But then he clammed up during liftoff when Nathan missed a step and immediately fell asleep on him two minutes into the flight :skip:

Nathan: why is this button just sitting here like this? :dahell:

Mechanic: :smugbiden: You'll never know it's not there..

:smugbiden: Would I fly in it? In a heartbeat..

:smugbiden:If I had a family they could fly in it..

:smugbiden: That's saying a lot..

:smugbiden: Among mechanics, that's kind of a proof of your confidence in the condition.

Nathan: Is that a birds nest? :dahell:

Man that whole scene had me dying!!!

Nathan got this unbelievable switch over thing that when he’s with normally people he acts mad cringe and like a weirdo.

But when he’s around a weirdo, he comes off completely sane and normal :russ:
