the D talent will improve, but you cant field a good D with this scheme in 2013. its soft, it allows too many yards, shyt just doesnt work. Thomas struggled all year and had 300 in 3 quarters, fukking pathetic

the AD has to put pressure on Al to axe D'Onofrio, he wont do it on his own. guy is terrible everyone on the D staff can bounce except Barrow

Dudes on twitter copping pleas for coach d and I'm like the man can't field a defense that can stop a simple crossing route on 3rd down. It's been 3 years of this shyt man. Crossing routes, TE's running free down the middle, and RBs coming out the backfield and we never adjust.

Coley gets worse with every game, huge part of the reason for the yards allowed is TOP. dont think we've had the ball for over 25 mins all year

3rd downs are painful on both sides, not looking like as big of a leap from last year after all. hope im wrong but not much will change until we get some new blood in the staff

@SoulController Coley falls in love with that stretch on 1st which gets blown up cause McDermott always gets put on his ass. The entire stadium knows it's coming especially after a 1st down when we hurry up. We go 2 TE and bring Malcolm out wide. Lewis who hasn't played all game long, Coaches know that fukking play is coming yet we still run it.

Idk how many times he has Morris roll out and tries to slip it to Walford but it's hit or miss. There's little to no creativity to either side of the ball.

Told y'all when the hire happened, Coley is only there for recruiting purposes. Dude a monster on that trail but no track record as an OC. Jimbo didn't even let him call plays during blowouts

We got desperate and hired Coley who was awful at FIU and Jimbo refused to let him call plays. Or even give him the OC job if only in name. But were in a weird spot with him now. He's brought in prolly the best recruits but we took a serious drop in Gameday coaching from Fisch.

The D were running is Al Golden's Defense he's been running that shyt ever since he worked at UVA under Al Groh and Donofrio is basically making the calls ..dude ain't gonna fire his best friend they both goin down together ..dude gonna have to stop being stubborn and adjust the scheme there's no difference in the D we saw tonite and what we saw as his first game as a coach 3 years ago against Maryland the shyt is pathetic

that tells me that Al can make good hires, the school doesnt give him much of a budget so hes going to have to get crafty. need all the help we can get

This squad isn't that good if you told me they'll be 7-2 after virgina tech we all would have took it. Now I'm not making excuses because they need to take advantage of their situation. Once Duke Johnson went down the season was pretty much over. That running back position is at best.

The linebackers get exposed in coverage and aj highsmith shouldn't even be allowed to step on greentree unless he is passing out equipment.

Deon Bush should have red shirted along with Malcolm Lewis but for depth purposes they couldn't. I think they rushed on some of these 2014 kids as well but it's to late in the game to look elsewhere. The U is at least two years away and I strongly believe they should start Olsen or kayaa next year. No need to even play Ryan Williams to be one year chic fila bowl hero.
