I encourage women and men, though the latter we all know is never really an issue, who feels forced to stay in a marriage with no way out to just shoot the hostage taker in the head while they sleep. They didn't give you the option to leave so just take him out. Maybe use poison that will be hard to detect to minimize your chances of getting caught.

Hey, they wouldn't let you leave and forced you to stay and you have to do what you have to do. Poison them slowly and over time to make it seem like a natural illness.

Not sure why people want others to remain in unhappy marriages. what benefit does it serve? If people want to stay married they will. nobody is being forced to divorce.

This is that, i want Christianity as law type of crusade. but church and state are supposed to be separate.

The funny thing about them is they don't see the long game. This is how you slow walk people into fascism. You keep pushing the limits of individual rights over years and do it slow enough that it isn't too out of step with some people in society. We as a society decided individual liberty and freedom is a sacrosanct value even if we don't always agree personally with how people use it. But we tolerated certain things in order to maintain those higher level values. But given some people have biases, hate, and prejudices that run counter to that, there will always be parts of society that can be convinced to cosign trampling the rights of their ideological enemies and slowly chip away of everyone's individual rights because they were willing to sacrifice these rights to see their enemies or people they hate suffer.

But the long game is to do things they agree with at first and once people are comfortable with that new normal, move on to the next grievance to address with an authoritarian solution. These same dudes in here cheering this will eventually find their loved ones or themselves in the crosshairs but they really won't have any power to stop it because they cosigned the 100 little steps up to that point. The path to their oppression was cleared with their help all because they enjoyed seeing people they don't like getting the treatment they are now about to receive.

Tl:Dr. They are reactionary dumbasses and their hated blinds them. Also some people are too simple minded and stupid to have foresight. They live in the moment and incapable of gaming out the future. It's a mental limitation.
