i think it's going to be a shelf life for any of these "top streamers"
especially since their audience is gonna tend to be kids who are gonna get older and bored of watching people play video games at some point lol.
a dude like Ninja lucky that he made quite a bit of money, so he'll probably be fine, some of these other dudes without a lot of other transferrable skills are gonna be fukked when the kids stop wanting to watch them play overwatch or whatever.

Breh I am even getting tired of watching gaming streams. At this point, I just look at gaming related stuff involving informative gems like LGR and Linus. It gets tiresome seeing a talking head playing a shyt load of games and start to realize this shyt isn't worth it in the long run. There is going to be a huge focus on IRL content over gaming content that this society will be just a subscription service within itself. People will become less genuine than they are just to get that five minutes of clout before bowing out.
We really are living in some sad times that will continue to drop like dominoes.
