Pre-Nup The Source Of Strahan/Murphy Break-Up
Apparently Nicole split over paperwork. Via PageSix:
Michael Strahan and his fiancée of five years, Nicole Murphy, split after a contentious negotiation over money and, more specifically, their prenup.
A source tells us, “Nicole was unwilling to sign a prenup, even though Michael has consistently been very generous to her.”
Strahan was supportive when she sued Troy David Stratos for $7 million in 2010, after he allegedly persuaded her to invest all her money overseas.
The source added, “She gave Stratos all the money from her divorce with Eddie Murphy. Michael helped her out financially, but she still wouldn’t sign a prenup.”
His rep declined to comment last night.
Stratos is in custody awaiting trial after being charged with numerous counts of fraud and money laundering.
New York Giants great and popular talk-show host Strahan and Murphy, who have nine children between them, officially called it quits Friday after seven years together.
His rep said at the time, “They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule, it has been hard to maintain the relationship.”
