That shyt is clutch as fukk for a quick pay thoReal Talk, I didn't want to go to college. "It wasn't me" was the disclaimer a young Iceberg made after walking across that stage to cop my high school diploma. Life and harsh realities will make you change your tune at times. I made higher education about me, hell, I teach higher education and have for years now. Its the world we live in, you better make this shyt about you. Another form of class warfare here. My MBA has already paid for itself. Then again, I went to school for something that is worthwhile and am in the field utilizing it. I should be realistically hitting around 100k by the time I hit 40. My next job search will be on TheLadders.com my nikkas.. High school only education can't get you that. Snag-a-job.com is your destination.

I think a more interesting study would be the rising costs of not being raised with a high socioeconomic status.
Don't be as dumb as these nikkas here

Unless you are in a sort of high paying professional school, do not take on loads of unnecessary debt. Even then, spend a year or two when your first big gig comes paying off your debt as soon as possible. Living frugal for two or three years to pay off debt will save you a ton of money in the long run and will free up the paycheck much sooner.

A couple of studies came out this year. One study says that upward income mobility depends on five things: less segregation, less income inequality, better schools, greater social capital, and more stable families.

This map shows the average percentile rank of children who grow up in below-median income families across areas of the U.S. (absolute upward mobility). Lighter colors represent areas where children from low-income families are more likely to move up in the income distribution. To look up statistics for your own city, use the interactive version of this map created by the New York Times.

Another study followed nearly 800 Baltimore children since 1982 for more than 25 years. Many of its findings were similar to the study above. However, it showed that low-income black children grew up to be worse off financially than low-income white children due to discrimination (historical and current), lack of job networks (social capital), and less stable families.

You just described why slavery was effective in a nutshell smh...As a brother living in the south in the bible belt, income inequality is tragic. The white people here are ultra conservative outside of the city, ultra religious and are deathly afraid of the poor black people. They segregate themselves from minorities and view them with disdain and entitlement ironically. The funny part is that if they ever teamed up with the poor minorities and realized how much they are being taken advantage of by ultra wealthy libertarian nutjobs, they could actually help generate wealth and become political heavy weights. Instead they would rather be seperate and inferior rather than integrated and successful.
