Rock most likely recommended that to her. Which is actually smart. I've been there (not wrestling training), so I understand completely.

I imagine Rock is the type of parent that's going to support his in almost anything they choose to do as long as they work at it.

Plus, it's not like she's going to be the usual wrestler, hitting the indies and whatnot. She'll be trained by family before heading to Full Sail, where she'll have numerous people looking out for her because of who her dad is. He probably feels like she'll be fine, and he always has a job for her if she ever decides to do something different.
