from the trailer it seems like he’s attempting some nuances in his tonality and line delivery which i can appreciate…the safdie’s haven’t missed imo so i have faith they can challenge rock the same way they did pattinson in good times…

He's OK. He's like in the same category as actors like Vin Diesel. He does some decent roles and some same old repetitive roles over and over again.

He's not a fukking steven seagal WOAT levels of bad. Reason why so many people call Dwayne a bad actor is because we keep seeing this guy in so many films where he pretty much does similar roles.

There are far too many great films from the past that I haven't seen yet, I don't see the point in watching all those mainstream Hollywood films from recent years. This Mark Kerr one looks kinda promising, may take a look when it shows up.

Honestly feel like The Rock is capable of doing higher quality work....but that requires one to display a certain level of vulnerability. He's always been so image conscious and afraid of leaning too far to any side.

Just watching his TV show, you can tell dude had a lot of unresolved issues with his dad and grandma (mom's mom). When he has little IG clips, dunno, it's something in his eyes. Never noticed it until wifey brought it up. He's happy overall but there's some deep sadness. If he would tap into that, he'd be a damn good dramatic actor.....but he's too guarded to show that side of himself.
