It is actually the best gi joe movie content.

what you wanted to know about as a kid.
Only issue i have with the movie is flint and lady jaye. Not mek lady jaye and flint. Yet at least they are in it.
Plus rock does a kid dream level good job.

Oddly enough, this makes me think the film will be decent and that this critic never saw the original smashing machine doc. It’s hard to describe but the first one was crazy, and he seems to have Mark’s mannerisms and speaking style down pretty well

I'm not looking for The Rock comin' outta kayfabe and Vince McMahon promos to change his skillset as an actor. The Rock will never be a stage actor that went to the big screen and made it, he came outta theatrical late-night smash TV. His roles helped him grow as an actor and he brings something different to his roles. This looks like a good one that incorporates his roots and journey in Hollywood.
I'd like to see him in the John Wick-type universe givin' one-liners, doin' Rock Bottoms and People's Elbows 'cause the shyt would be meta, comical mindless action scenes - especially as long takes.
Let's not act like The Rock is destined for an Oscar. His run in Hollywood is respectable considering where he came from.

20+ years in the game with no classics..
I liked Pain & Gain. fukked up movie but it made me laugh…. and then I was reminded 3/4s of the way through that it was based on a true story and felt like shyt. (I still like the movie though.)
He's OK. He's like in the same category as actors like Vin Diesel. He does some decent roles and some same old repetitive roles over and over again.
He's not a fukking steven seagal WOAT levels of bad. Reason why so many people call Dwayne a bad actor is because we keep seeing this guy in so many films where he pretty much does similar roles.
There are far too many great films from the past that I haven't seen yet, I don't see the point in watching all those mainstream Hollywood films from recent years. This Mark Kerr one looks kinda promising, may take a look when it shows up.
