watch this ish be successful now
esp since you don't need to fake having fans anymore :heh:

Does this make any sense...no fans no revenue and the tv deal aint going to be much too offset the operating cost....i have too see where this goes because it makes no sense right now

This makes no sense ...operating cost will be crazy high for anybody to waste their time doing this...

Well they already have the equipment and stadium deals in place, so they don't have to pay more for that, I think that's already accounted for. With fans all of the teams except Tampa I believe were making money. They said St. Louis and Seattle were making anywhere from 2 to 3 times higher than they were expected to make in any given game.

The problem is broadcasting the games on primetime networks, that's where most of the money was being spent. Vince's plan was to spend 500 mil a year for 3 years, lose 375 mil, then get a 100 mil+ per year TV contract, which I don't think they are going to get until they show some growth.

So basically, this is a long term investment that if done right, can make them 50 mil+ a year in revenue WAY down the line if they put up a lot of money up front. I think that's a worthwhile investment but you gotta be willing to see it through and be patient for 5-10 years.

The last version of the XFL we saw was actually really good. It didn't have the stink of the first XFL. The only thing that really fukked it up was the pandemic. If you didn't know Vince was behind it you would have never guessed.

no fans can play in cheaper stadiums even like highschool type and just have a+ presentation

I dont think they make enough money by broadcasting the games alone. They might do better by waiting for the pandemic to end and then starting a season when fans are allowed again.

Edit: Yeah looks like they opted to not make money on broadcasting games for good timeslots and to have some of the production costs cut The XFL isn't getting any money from ESPN or FOX for its TV rights

So i don't think we'll get a season until after the pandemic

Who knows, but I'd imagine a much bigger stake than Jay because it's only a 15 mil sale. Jay owned like less than 10%, The Rock was already worth over 200 million so I'd imagine he put up more than 1.5 mil into this investment

Edit: looks like a 50/50 split, the rock and his ex wife put up 7.5 mil

I’ve never seen a former husband and wife work together and get along as well as Dwayne and Dany.

shyt is :whoo:
