This is the state of the industry. You know I don't give a fukk about ratings but the fact that a Rock appearance that was hyped up for ages only got a 3.1 is depressing.

And before anyone tries to get it twisted, this isn't a shot at Rock, Punk, Ryback, Steve Blackman or anyone else. It's just sad to see how far it's fallen from even half a decade ago.

Hopefully this ends all of the ratings talk here, not even the Rock can bring in huge #s so lets just enjoy it for what it is and stop worrying about ratings and :smugcoke:'s money.

 There's literally nothing more important than the ratings and the money right now.

Without ratings or money we'd be discussing DDP coming back to fight Punk at World War 3.

WCW still had good ratings and money but the people that bought Time Warner didn't want to put a wrestling show on. Had anyone other than Vince bought it and found a channel to put it on, it'd still be alive today

I was talking about 95-96 when the E was looking :flabbynsick:

But the E was saved thanks people like the one who came back on Monday.

The money and ratings generated from that has kept us going so that we can talk about how irrelevant things are until this point.

I think G Unit said it best...

You're gonna be poster of the year if you keep this gimmick going :russ:

i noticed this the other day while playing wwe 13, they have that ratings timeline between matches. brehs back in 99 they were throwing up 5's and 6's like you read about.
