People realizing he isn't gonna wrestle unless it's a PPV, and he'll only show up for like 10 minutes and give a remixed version of a promo we're used to by now 15 years in the game.

No surprise that it popped up in a thread called Rock=Ratings...that you clicked to read out of curiosity.

You care!

I ain't talking about in this thread, I know this thread is designed for that, but I'm talking about in threads outside of this, but like I said it's whatever

No Dwayne = 3.5

Next week WITH Dwayne = 3.0

I promise this isn't an IWC heel promo, it's actually pretty likely:

People didn't know Rock wouldn't be on last week. This seems very reasonable. The week before last had some major events go down, with Brock returning to F5 Vince and Punk/Rock rematch being set up, whereas last week nothing memorable happened. Those type of things make people tune in the next week.

I promise that I could not care less about whatever spin you come up with.

Either base your wrestling opinions on ratings, or don't. It's a pretty shytty basis IMO but if that's what you're going with then at least be consistent. This selective picking and choosing which numbers count and which don't is the lamest thing I've seen wrestling fans engage in, and is frankly just retarded. Pun intended.

After two straight weeks of unusually high ratings, Raw came back to a somewhat normal level on 2/11, doing a 3.15 rating and 4.25 million viewers. The viewership number was the lowest so far in 2013. The show finished third for the night on cable. An interesting note in the past few weeks is that the company is doing an unusually low number of viewers per home. It’s dropped significantly since football ended and you would think the opposite would happen. It should have been nothing of concern in recent weeks because of the idea so many new homes were watching that maybe it drags down the average. But with a more average sized audience this week, the same thing happened.

The show did a 2.5 in Male teens (down 7%), 2.4 in Males 18-49 (down 11%), 1.1 in Girl teens (same as last week) and 1.0 in Women 18-49 (down 9%). The audience was 68.3% male.

In the segment-by-segment, they opened with a 3.33 quarter for Paul Heyman and C.M. Punk doing a promo. Mark Henry vs. Great Khali lost 328,000 viewers. Chris Jericho vs. Daniel Bryan gained 84,000 viewers. John Cena & Sheamus & Ryback vs. 3MB at 9 p.m. gained 267,000 viewers to a 3.34 quarter. Jack Swagger vs. Zack Ryder lost 253,000 viewers. Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz lost 19,000 viewers. Brodus Clay & Tensai vs. Primo & Epico lost 242,000 viewers. The Shield promo and the brawl with Cena, Sheamus and Ryback gained 392,000 at 10 p.m. to a 3.25 quarter. Alberto Del Rio vs. Damien Sandow lost 419,000 viewers. Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett lost 37,000 viewers. Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler gained 186,000 viewers. And the final segment with the Rock promo and C.M. Punk and Paul Heyman coming out and the final brawl gained 578,000 viewers to a 3.48 overrun.

Growth for Rock’s promo saw teenage boys go from 2.2 to 2.3, 18-49 men from 2.6 to 3.1, teenage girls from 0.8 to 0.7 and Women 18-49 from 1.0 to 1.1.

That's str8 up bullshyt. All comers? When? He rode out two easy matches on the way out and they were unsuccessful which is why the Rock came back in the first place. And nothing can touch his promo work before..nothing in history. He revolutionized the industry.
