Orton is not larger than life. After WWF's issue with steroids Vince had to transition to using smaller body type wrestlers like HBK, Razor, Bret Hart;etc.
Right now, most wrestlers have Punk's smaller body frame like Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins;etc.

I think there are two factors to remember
it was post royal rumble, the second biggest pay per view they run...and because the rock won the title after not having it in 10 years
i dont think there should even be a debate on whether the rock brought these ratings or not, he was atleast 50% the reason why folks watched. I had nikkas who havent watched wrestling since a kid texting me asking if the rock was really champ and shyt. Congrats to the wwe, vince, rock, and eveyrone for the nice ratings bump BUT
I want to once again proclaim that Paul Heyman and this shield angle stole the show alongisde the rock/punk interaction. It's fukked up the most heel heat punk has gotten in the past year plus came the night after he loses the belt but man was punk and rock on the mic sounding like gold. But Heyman
probably behind prime austin/foley promo wise cause that guy sold himself as a pure liar. I almost believed he didnt have shyt to do with the shield until the video rolled. Please let them keep this angle simple for now and try not to throw in a retarded swerve just to swerve. Heyman has been the most consistently entertaining part of the wwe since he returned and i hope he gets involved more writing wise, maybe give him another run on smackdown?

yea razor damn near stood up next to diesel and were pretty close in height, shoulder width, etc. Hall when he was young was hogan big with a stan hansen mustache lol

Post Rumble last year had 5.2 million viewers on average compared to 5.02 this year....
